What is prayer?

Despite what modern science tells us, it was God who made man, He made the world and the entire universe. We cannot understand that because God is so much higher than we are.
But because He made us, He knows us completely. He made us because He wants fellowship and communication with us. Prayer is simply that, even though we cannot see God, He can see us, and loves us all, speak to Him, thank Him and rely on Him, and He will change your life.

How to pray?

God doesn't want candles or rituals, He says in His word that He is our Father in Heaven. He is the perfect Father, wanting to help us, to guide us, to heal us, and He wants us to rely on Him.
So when you pray, just close your eyes, think of God the Father, understand that He loves you whoever you are, and as you speak to Him in need, do so as you would your best friend, rely on Him to help you and trust in Him; He will always deliver.

What to pray for?

As God is our Father in Heaven, Just like a perfect Father should be, He wants us to speak with Him and trust in Him. Also when we pray, we should ask for our needs and not always our wants. This means that if you are ill, sad, have financial, family or other problems, are lonely, broken hearted, or want to know Him more, and you ask for whatever it is, He will provide it for you.
As a perfect Father, He will not give you what is bad for you.

OUR PRAYER FOR YOU........

Jesus said it very clearly in the Gospel of Mark, and talking about Christians He said “they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark chapter 16 verse18). It is always God's will to heal us, not just to heal Christians, but anyone who will believe that God (Father, Son and holy Spirit) will heal them. During the life of Jesus on this earth, He healed hundreds if not thousands of people. When He ascended into heaven, He said to His Disciples (all followers of Jesus are God's Disciples even to this day) "Go and place hands on the sick and they will recover" So you can be healed of any disease, condition, infection or spiritual or mental affliction (please see "mental or spiritual healing tab for more information".
Jesus healed while He was on this earth, and people today are still seeing healing manifested by God, with the blind seeing, the lame walking, the deaf hearing, the childless conceiving, alcoholics leaving drink, the smokers quitting, the sad and lonely being given peace and healing.

We are all made up of body, soul and spirit. This makes us different to animals as they do not have a spirit. God made us this way, and because He made us, He knows us intimately. As He knows us so perfectly, He knows always exactly what we need, and when we have troubles He understands us and wants to heal us and remove those problems from us and our lives.
We may be suffering from mental illness, sadness, feelings of despair or loneliness, heartache or depression and so many other similar issues. All of these things He understands, and is willing to take away from us; trust in Him, He is everything and more.

Philippians 4:7 says

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus".
Jesus Christ is called in the bible "The Prince of Peace".
John 16:33
says, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world". It is true, Jesus brings total peace to us within this troubled world. He has provided His word for us to read and listen to, and if we ask Him, He will come into our lives and bring peace and understanding with Him.

John 17 verse 3 tells us. "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Eternal life is not just eternal in terms of "forever", it is more importantly eternal in terms of the depth in knowing God personally. This does not have to wait until we pass from this world, but so importantly, eternal life in all it's fullness begins the day we give our lives over to Jesus Christ and ask Him to live within us, this is how we come to know the one and only true God. After allowing Him to come into our lives, He begins to teach us, guide us and so importantly become an actual part of us through His holy spirit.

When the Bible speaks of eternal life, it refers to a gift of God that comes only “through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). This gift is in contrast to the “death” that is the natural result of sin.
